Thailand declared state of emergency
That's right, Thailand has just declared itself in a state of emergency, which means that we are not going to Bangkok anymore - where the epicentre of all this political mayhem is.It's damn suay la...But thankfully I'm not already stuck there when this happen. Poor Winnie and Raf and the rest, they just got there today and now they can't go out of the hotel.
It's all over the news. As of now, troops with their tanks and all have already taken control of Thai Prime Minister Thanksin's office in Bangkok, and there are talks of a coup happening. In fact it is "apparent", as lifted of Channel News Asia's website.
Sigh...and we were all so excited, now we are all scrambling to cancel our hotel reservations and flights. Joe & co. lagi worse, they were suppose to leave later on in the morning.
Well, at least the silver lining is that I haven't packed, and now instead of Bangkok we are thinking of changing in to Hong Kong???? Haha...actually now I'm in the "HK triads where all the gangsters look like Edison Chen" kinda mood. Heh heh.
Okay, I am feeling all flu-ish and I think I should sleep so I can call the travel agency in BKK tomorrow as early in the morning as possible. Wish me luck, I won't be surprised if the phone line is jammed.
This sucks.
